What We Do

Aurora Solar Maintenance

Aurora is one of Colorado’s largest cities with one of the highest concentrations of residential solar on the Front Range. The city’s eastern exposure means more wind, more dust, and more hail impact than Denver proper.

Aurora’s diverse housing stock means a wide range of solar system types — from older string inverter systems to new microinverter setups. We service all of them regardless of installer.

Areas We Serve

Southlands, Murphy Creek, Saddle Rock, Tallyn’s Reach, Quincy Reservoir area, Heather Ridge, Mission Viejo, Aurora Hills, Fitzsimons, and all Aurora neighborhoods.

Aurora Solar Challenges

  • Eastern plains exposure — higher wind speeds carry more dust and debris onto panels.
  • Hail corridor — Aurora gets hit harder than Denver. Panel damage is common after major storms.
  • High solar density — lots of systems, fewer service companies actively covering Aurora.
  • Aging systems — early adopters (2015–2018) hitting the age where inverters and connections need attention.

"Where do I start? Amazing work. Great detail. No one else will service my solar panels, only this company! Great customer service. Goes the extra mile to make sure you are well taken care of. This guy was on my roof mid day while temps were scorching and got the job done in a timely manner. Even said he is going to come back to clean the gutters and everything. No more pigeon nests! Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend"

"Cannot recommend this company enough! Nick came the same day I called and gave us a free estimate. He scheduled very quickly and was super efficient. Very communicative as well. The install itself is very professional and looks really clean. Will always recommend them moving forward. Thank you for the 10/10 work."

"These guys too care of the pigeon problem that had developed under my solar panels, cleaned my gutters, put up critter guard, and gave the panels a good cleaning. They charged me a fair price, provided excellent customer service, and were 100% transparent about the process."

FAQs

FAQs About Solar Service in Aurora

What Aurora homeowners ask us most often.

  • Is Aurora really that bad for hail?
Yes — Aurora sits at the center of Colorado's hail corridor. May 8, 2017 dropped baseball-sized hail across Lakewood, Aurora, and Thornton (still the costliest Colorado hail event on record at $2.3B). May 30, 2024 was another baseball-sized storm hitting Aurora and Commerce City. If you've owned solar in Aurora more than 3-4 years, you've taken at least one significant hail event.
  • How do I know if hail actually damaged my panels?
Hard part is most hail damage on panels is invisible — the glass looks fine but the silicon cells underneath crack from impact. We use thermal imaging to find micro-cracks; cracked cells run hotter than healthy ones under load and show up as hot spots on the image. We also check for frame dents, broken connections, and shifted mounting. A general roofing inspector almost never catches the cell-level damage.
  • Will my insurance cover the panels too, or just the roof?
Usually it covers the panels, but check your declarations page. Most Colorado homeowner policies treat rooftop solar as covered property, often subject to a separate wind/hail deductible that's higher than your standard one. Some policies exclude cosmetic-only damage (dents that don't affect production). We give you a written scope and thermal-imaging documentation you can submit to your adjuster.
  • What Aurora neighborhoods do you cover?
All of it — Saddle Rock, Tallyn's Reach, Murphy Creek, Southlands, Heather Gardens, original Aurora west, and the newer subdivisions east toward DIA. Aurora is one of our growth markets and we run regular routes through there.
  • How fast can you get out for a post-hail inspection?
After major storms we prioritize Aurora inspection calls — usually within a week. The window to file a hail claim matters (insurers vary, but Colorado has notice deadlines), so we try to get there before the policy clock works against you.
  • My Aurora installer went bankrupt — Titan, ADT, Sunnova. Can you still service?
Yes. Aurora has a lot of these orphaned customers because the big national installers sold heavily here before closing. We service every brand and every installation. Your manufacturer panel and inverter warranties usually still hold; we pick up the service side.
