Solar Panel Maintenance in Colorado Springs & the Front Range
What Solar Panel Maintenance Is
Maintenance is the ongoing version of everything we do — cleaning, a critter-guard check, an inspection, and a look at production, on a regular schedule instead of only when something breaks. It's how you keep an existing system performing without having to remember to call. This is the Annual Service Program: clean, protect, maintain, year after year.
For homeowners whose installer disappeared, this is the simplest version of having a first point of contact — someone's looking after the system on a schedule, and you've got one number for anything in between.

- Plain rundown — what needs attention, what doesn't yet
When You Need This
If your installer's gone, if you've never had the system serviced, or if you'd just rather catch problems early than wait for a failure — that's what this is for. It's also the easiest fit for anyone who wants solar to be something they don't have to think about.
Why Solar Guard
We don't use maintenance visits as a way to upsell. If the system's fine, we tell you it's fine. You get an honest set of eyes on the roof on a schedule, from a local, veteran-owned, fully insured team that'll still be here next year.

FAQs About Solar Panel Maintenance in Colorado
Real questions from homeowners across the Front Range, with straight answers.

Honestly, isn't a maintenance plan just an upsell?
Fair question. The reason plans exist is the silent-failure pattern — one weak microinverter, one cracked cell, one chewed wire can sit there for a year while the app still says everything's green and your bill creeps up. A yearly check catches that before it becomes a $2,000 repair. If you'd rather pay-as-you-go and have us out only when you suspect something, we do that too. The plan is for people who'd rather know. -
What does the maintenance plan actually include?
A yearly visit: visual inspection of every panel, check of mounting hardware, microinverter / optimizer health check, monitoring system readout, panel cleaning, and a written report comparing your output year over year. Plus a post-hail-storm check if a major Front Range storm hits your address. Critter guard inspection is included if you've got one. -
How is the maintenance plan different from just calling for a cleaning?
Cleaning gets the panel faces clean and that's it. Maintenance includes the cleaning plus the electrical and mechanical side — hardware, wiring, monitoring, year-over-year benchmarking. Cleaning gives you visual; maintenance gives you a system status. Both have their place. If your panels just look dirty, cleaning is fine. If you've never had the whole system looked at, maintenance is the better one-time visit. -
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No long contracts. If we're not earning it, you shouldn't be paying for it. -
Will you be around long-term, or disappear like my last installer?
Staying around is the whole idea. We're a Colorado Springs business, veteran-owned, built to service systems for the long haul. Maintenance plans make us your ongoing first point of contact — same local number every year, same crew, no offshoring. -
Will maintenance void my warranty?
No. Routine cleaning, hardware checks, and monitoring don't interfere with panel or inverter manufacturer warranties. If a visit turns up something covered under your warranty, we point that out so you can use the coverage you've already paid for.
