Solar Panel Repair in Colorado Springs & the Front Range
What Solar Panel Repair Is
Repair is fixing what's actually broken — a damaged panel, a failed inverter, a connection problem dragging down output. It includes solar panel replacement when a panel can't be saved and inverter replacement when the inverter is the fault. The goal is restoring production, not replacing more than you need.
We diagnose first so the repair targets the real cause. A production drop can come from soiling, shading, a single bad panel, or an inverter on its way out — and the fix is different for each.

When You Need This
If production has dropped and cleaning didn't bring it back, if your inverter is throwing faults or has gone dark, or if you've got visible panel damage from hail or wear — that's a repair. Start with an inspection if you're not sure what's wrong.
Why Solar Guard
We fix the actual problem instead of upselling a bigger one. Veteran-owned, fully insured, every brand — including orphaned systems other companies won't touch. And we're your point of contact after the repair, not just for it.

FAQs About Solar Panel Repair in Colorado
Real questions from homeowners across the Front Range, with straight answers.
-
My installer went out of business and my system stopped working. Who do I call?
Us. This is the most common call we get now. Titan, Pink Energy, ADT, SunPower, Sunnova, Solcius — when those companies closed, their customers' service warranties closed with them. But your panel and inverter manufacturer warranties almost always still hold, because they come from Enphase, REC, Q Cells, SolarEdge, whoever — not from the installer. We diagnose the fault, do the repair, and help with whatever manufacturer RMA paperwork is needed. -
Will you push me into replacing the whole system?
No. We diagnose the actual fault and replace only the part that's failing — a single panel, a microinverter, a connection. We don't sell new installs, so we don't make more money by talking you into a $25K replacement when one $400 microinverter is the actual problem. -
Can you fix hail damage?
Yes. Cracked glass panels usually need replacement (your insurance often covers it, especially in Colorado where hail riders are common). Micro-cracks — where the cell underneath is fractured but the glass looks fine — can sometimes be left in place if production loss is small, or replaced if the damage is widespread. We inspect, document, and give you a straight recommendation backed by thermal imaging. -
My panels were chewed by squirrels — can you rewire them?
Yes. Chewed DC wiring is one of the more common repairs we do, especially in Colorado Springs. Typical rewiring runs $500-$3,000 depending on how many runs were chewed and whether any panels need replacement from arc damage. After we fix it we strongly recommend critter guard so it doesn't happen again — the second round is always more expensive than the first. -
Does a repair void my warranty?
If we use manufacturer-spec parts and methods, no. Most panel and inverter warranties stay intact as long as repairs are done by a qualified contractor — which we are. If something we're repairing is still under coverage, we'll flag it so you can use the warranty instead of paying out of pocket. -
Can you service brands you didn't install?
Yes — that's most of what we do. We service every panel manufacturer, every inverter brand, every installation. The reason most solar companies won't service someone else's install is they only know their one supplier's hardware and they're scared of liability on a system they didn't build. We service maintenance and repair as our actual business, so we know multiple brands and we're built for it.
